English lavender that is grown in the Provence region of France. Our No. 1 grade lavender has a characteristic blue-purple color and a sharp, piney-lavender scent. Lavender flower buds are about the size of a grain of rice and are not on stems.

Lavandula angustifolia is a little different from Lavandula x intermedia but both are sold as as Lavender flowers although Lavandula angustifolia is of a better quality. This little greyish purple flower is known for its sweet floral aroma.
